Summerfest : Northern Beaches

Summerfest 2012 is a school holiday event that’s fun for kids and youth…not to mention relaxing & informative for parents!

Summerfest 2012 is a children’s and youth holiday program run during the first week of January at Mackellar Girls High School by Christ Church Northern Beaches.

Summerfest  2012 also caters for parents and carers by running our Getaway Café - an oasis where you can drink great coffee and hear guest speakers who are experts in their field. Summerfest 2012 is excited to announce that NSW Treasurer and Member for Manly, Mike Baird will be speaking at Getaway Cafe this year. 

Dates:
 Monday 2nd – Friday 6th January 2012 with a carnival for the whole family on Saturday 7th January

Time: 9:00am – 11:30am daily

Cost: $6.00 per child per day (Family discounts are available)

Location: Mackellar Girls High School (Corner of Campbell Parade & Quirk Road, Manly Vale, NSW, 2093)

Music Mites starts this Friday…

MUSIC MITES is a new fun music group for little children. Little ones will discover the enjoyment of being part of a group, develop language skills, cognitive concepts and a love of music, rhythm, beat, song & performance.

WHO:    Music Mites is for children 0-5 years of age and their carers whether parents, grandparents or nannies. Carers are encouraged to be as active as they can with their children during this special half-hour.

WHEN:  Fridays 9.30am – 10.00am (during term-time)

Morning Tea 10.00 – 10.30am

OPTIONAL: From 10.30-11.30am members of Music Mites are invited to stay on and join either the Easy English Bible Study or Women’s Connect Group to connect with God and others while children attend a supervised crèche.

WHERE: Manly Vale Anglican Church, 3 King Street, Manly Vale 2093.

Cost:    $5 per week casual or $30 per 10 week term charged on the door.
